A quick look at the Nokia E5

In this podcast, Junaid Mahomed tells us what he thinks of the Nokia E5 and why the Nokia N97 Mini really sucks.

The Nokia E5 has a qwerty keyboard and from what Junaid told me, he selected this phone due to this fact and the fact that it didn’t have a touch screen. I can see where he is coming from.

This phone was anounced in April of 2010 and made available in August of that same year. However, here in South Africa, this phone is not available to visually impaired users on any of the networks as a speaking phone.

This means that, should you as a blind or visually impaired person want to use this phone with speech, you’d have to purchase the phone and then purchase Nuance talks or MobileSpeak from Code Factory separately.
